If he's this fast now, I've got to wonder how fast he would've been when he was even younger. I hope that he plays and can easily see him getting into the game next season. Of course, we're all a LONG way away from that point, but I'm excited to see the speed Green brings to the field. The veteran line Penn State currently has should open up some nice holes for him.

I can't wait 2 see what Stephon Green does this year. The world will finally get 2 see what we always knew he was capable of. I saw this talent in him when i was his pop warner coach.

Thanks for the promo. I couldn't stop snicker when I attempted to create South Park characters for each individual coach.

Yeah, but unfortunately those stupid players switched teams a lot (which is part of the reason why the game slowed down after halftime). Clark didn't look as good playing without his first team wide receivers and AGAINST the first team defense. I would've liked to see Clark get more snaps behind that O-Line, with the first team offense. He did lead the Blue team to a TD drive late in the game. Plus, we've got some seniors to hold down the O-Line, so I don't think the QB position will give us TOO much to worry about, no matter who's under center.

Another thing I noticed while I was there (just spent the last half of the first quarter, and the second and third quarters) was a lot of sacks from each side. One thing that worries me is the offensive line play, and this is why I'm favoring Clark as of now over Devlin. I don't know if I can feel too comfortable with a pocket passer playing behind that line. Now I just don't know how much of this concern is the defensive line playing better or the offensive line not playing up to par.

Cudos for giving due credit to the hard working members of the NCAA supporting cast! That's what makes college basketball so much better than the star-studded, slam-dunking circus of the NBA.

Very well said, Kevin! In the end, it looks like a case of another pampered top recruit going for the glory. Reminds me of another ego-maniac named Terrell(e). As the great John F. Kennedy said, "It's not what "the country" can do for you, but what you can do for "the country". I can hear the Wolverines whining in Ann Arbor...and they won't be getting the top QB from the Class of 2009 either (Matt Barkley, Santa Ana, CA - Mater Dei), same school that produced another talented QB named Matt (Leinart). He's already committed to USC (guess he didn't need all the media attention that Terrell(e) does.
Still, there's no excuse for the poor recruiting results this year from JoePa and staff. We need a serious upgrade in this department. (see: Tom Savage, local boy, (Philadelphia, PA - Cardinal O'Hara High), already received offers from Illinois, Miami, Michigan and Rutgers (note: PSU not on this list?). Until then, hopefully, either Clark or Devlin can step up and become a big time QB. Looking forward to Oct 25 match-up at OSU, when Tom Bradley's D (especially Sean Lee) can "introduce" young Terrell(e) to Big-10 football (like they did to Jimmy Clausen last season).
To all PSU fans, in the words of John Denver..."Thank God I'm a "country" boy!

Yea K-Foe, you basically said what needs to be said. I watched Terrelle play at Jeanette cause he's in the same division as my cousins over in Pittsburgh and he is amazing. It was like watching the Noel Devine highlights over and over on YouTube. Other than being dissapointed at our incredibly lacking recruiting system right now, i'm suprised Terrelle didn't choose Michigan under Rodrigues and become Pat White. But then again who doesnt wan't to run an option with Beanie Wells for the next two years....
